Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • For most posts: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university is required.
  • For specific posts, additional qualifications are required. Examples include:
    • Food Safety Officer: Degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or equivalent.
    • Labour Enforcement Officer: Postgraduate degree in Labour Law or related discipline.
    • District Administrative Officer: Degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of three stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
    • General Studies Paper 1
    • General Studies Paper 2 (CSAT – Qualifying)
  2. Mains Examination (Descriptive Type)

    • Optional Subjects (As per post requirements)
