Salary & Benefits
The selected candidates will receive a salary as per the 7th Central Pay Commission:
- Associate Professor: Pay Matrix 13A1+
- Assistant Professor (if downgraded): Pay Matrix 12 (Upgraded to 13 after 3 years of continuous service with satisfactory performance)

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must meet the requirements specified in the National Medical Commission (NMC) Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022.
- BCBR and BCMET course completion is mandatory for Associate Professor applicants.
- Candidates applying for Medical Oncology may also have DM/DrNB in Pediatric Oncology.
Experience Requirements
- Associate Professor:
- A minimum of 6 years of teaching experience in a recognized NMC/MCI-approved medical institution.
- At least 3 years as an Assistant Professor.
- If the candidate’s first faculty post (Assistant Professor) was after June 8, 2017, they must have 1-year Senior Residency experience in the subject.
- Assistant Professor (if downgraded):
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience after MD/MS/DNB/PhD as Senior Resident/Lecturer/Assistant Professor in a recognized medical institution.
Medical Registration
Candidates must be registered with a State Medical Register or the National Medical Register (NMC/MCI). Selected candidates must register with the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council before joining.
Reservation Policy
The reservation will be applicable as per UP Government rules and includes:
