Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) Recruitment 2025: Chief Vigilance Officer Vacancy

Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) Ltd., a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh, is responsible for operating the Noida-Greater Noida Metro Corridor. To strengthen its Vigilance Department, NMRC is inviting applications for the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) on a deputation basis.

This is a deputation-based position for an initial period of three years, extendable up to five years based on performance.

Salary & Benefits

The selected candidate will have two salary options:

  1. Continue drawing the pay of the parent organization with deputation allowance as per rules.
  2. Opt for the equivalent IDA pay scale at NMRC, which includes IDA, HRA, and other perks as per NMRC policies.

The salary structure ensures that officers have flexibility in choosing the most suitable financial package while working with NMRC.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Candidates must be from Organized Group-A Services, drawing their pay in the SAG scale (Senior Administrative Grade) in their respective cadres (Functional/Non-Functional).
  • Officers from Group A engineering disciplines of Railways will be given preference.
  • Candidates must have a minimum APAR (Annual Performance Appraisal Report) grading of 8.0 for the last five years. If numeric grading is unavailable, a “Very Good” rating is acceptable.
  • Candidates should have no history of disciplinary action—officers who have faced major or minor penalties due to disciplinary proceedings are not eligible.
  • Experience in handling vigilance matters, corruption prevention, and disciplinary actions is preferred.

Selection Process

  • The selection will be based on eligibility criteria, experience, APAR ratings, and vigilance records.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further evaluation and interaction.
  • NMRC reserves the right to reject any application without assigning reasons.

  1. Duly filled application form (Annex-A), along with the Undertaking (Annex-B) and Certificate by Employer (Annex-C).
  2. Self-attested copies of supporting documents, including:
    • Educational certificates (Matriculation onwards)
    • Experience certificates for all previous and current employment
    • APAR ratings for the last five years
    • Office order showing current pay scale and promotion details
    • Last three months’ pay slips
    • No Objection Certificate (NOC) with D&AR/Vigilance clearance from the parent organization

General Instructions

  • All eligibility conditions (age, qualification, experience) must be fulfilled as of April 1, 2025.
  • The minimum qualification must be from a government-recognized university/institute.
  • Officers with experience in Group A engineering disciplines of Railways will be given preference.
