Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering in 2023 or 2024 from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 55% marks is required to be eligible.
Other Important Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates must not have undergone any previous apprenticeship training.
- Candidates who have work experience of one year or more after completing their degree are not eligible.
- Candidates must not have completed or be pursuing any master’s (postgraduate) course.
- Candidates with distance learning, part-time, or correspondence degrees are not eligible.
- Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old at the time of application.
Stipend & Benefits
- Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 9,000 per month.
- No TA/DA, lodging, or boarding expenses will be provided.
- The stipend may be revised by GUVNL during the apprenticeship period.
Selection Process
- Selection will be based purely on merit, determined by the marks obtained in the degree examination.
- In case of a tie (same marks), preference will be given to the older candidate.
- No canvassing or influence will be accepted at any stage of selection.

- The tenure of the apprenticeship is one year only and cannot be extended.
- UGVCL is not obligated to offer regular employment after the apprenticeship period.
Important Points to Note
