Eligibility Criteria
For Deputy Director General (DDG):
- Master’s degree in agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, or related sciences with a Ph.D.
- 15+ years of experience in research, teaching, or extension.
- At least 3 years as a Professor or Head of a State-level department.
- Officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, Autonomous Bodies, or PSUs can apply.
For Assistant Director General (ADG):
- Master’s degree in a related agricultural field with Ph.D.
- 5+ years of experience as an Assistant Professor, Scientific Officer, or equivalent.
- Officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, Autonomous Bodies, or PSUs can apply.
For Scientific Officers:
- Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks.
- NET qualification required, unless exempted by a Ph.D. with coursework and two NAAS-rated publications.
- Desirable: Ph.D. in the respective discipline.
For Technical Secretary to Director General:
- Master’s degree in any agricultural science discipline with 55% marks.
- NET qualification required, or Ph.D. holders with two NAAS-rated publications can apply.
- Desirable: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
