Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the official notification for the U.P. Technical Education (Teaching) Service Examination 2025. A total of 513 vacancies are announced for Group-B Gazetted Lecturer posts in Government Polytechnics, Leather Institutes, and NRIPT across Uttar Pradesh. Eligible Engineering, Architecture, and Science/Humanities graduates can apply online through the UPPSC official website. Candidates must complete One Time Registration (OTR) before submitting the application.

Educational Qualifications
Lecturer – Engineering & Technical Branches
- Level-9A: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in the relevant discipline with First Class
- Level-10: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in relevant discipline with First Class in either degree
Applicable Branches:
Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Chemical, Computer, Paint Technology, Plastic Mould Technology, Textile Technology, Footwear, Textile Chemistry, Leather Technology, Instrumentation & Control.
Lecturer – Architecture
- Same qualification pattern as above
- Allied fields accepted (e.g., Architectural Assistantship, Interior Design)
Workshop Superintendent
- Level-9A: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class
- Level-10: Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class in either
Lecturer – Non-Engineering (Sciences & Humanities)
- Master’s degree in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/English with First Class
Preferential Qualification
- 2 years Territorial Army service
- NCC “B” Certificate

Selection Process
- Written Examination (Across multiple exam centres in UP)
- Interview
- Final merit based on Written Exam Marks + Interview Marks
- Document verification before final selection
Only shortlisted candidates from the written exam will be called for interview.
