Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit
- Maximum Age Limit: 56 years (as on the closing date of application submission)
2. Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have completed their 10th grade (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
3. Work Experience
- Should have at least two years of experience in fingerprint examination.
4. Employment Status
- Must be an official from the Central or State Government or a Union Territory Police Force, serving under:
- Analogous posts on a regular basis, OR
- Three years of regular service in PB-1 (₹5200 – ₹20200) plus Grade Pay of ₹1900 in the parent department.
5. Additional Conditions
- Officers in the direct line of promotion within their department are not eligible.
- Deputationists will not be considered for promotion during their tenure.
- The tenure of deputation will be for three years.
Pay Scale and Allowances
- Pay Level: Level-3 in Pay Matrix
- Salary Range: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100
- Pre-revised Pay Band: ₹5200 – ₹20200
- Grade Pay: ₹2000/- (Pre-revised)
- Additional benefits: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other allowances as per government rules.

The selection for the Head Constable (Finger Print) post will be based on the following process:
