Eligibility Criteria

For Direct Recruitment:

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point-scale system.

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 and above, or
• 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 and above, including as an Associate Professor with experience in educational administration, or
• Comparable experience in research institutions or other higher education institutions, or
• 15 years of administrative experience, out of which 8 years should be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Age Limit:

• Preferably below 57 years

For Deputation:

• Candidates holding an analogous post or having at least 8 years of experience in Pay Level 12.
• Qualifications and experience should be as mentioned above for direct recruitment.
• The appointment on deputation will be for a tenure of five years or until attaining the age of superannuation (62 years), whichever is earlier.

Pay Scale

• Registrar: Level 14 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix
