Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following qualifications based on the subject applied for:
- Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject from a recognized Indian university
- B.Ed degree or L.T. Diploma from a government or government-recognized institution
Subject-Specific Highlights
- Hindi: Post Graduation in Hindi + Bachelor’s degree with Sanskrit or Shastri degree
- Sanskrit: Post Graduation in Sanskrit or Acharya degree from a recognized Sanskrit University
- Biology: Post Graduation in Botany/Zoology/Advanced Zoology
- Civics: Post Graduation in Political Science
- Arts: Post Graduation in Fine Arts/Drawing/Painting + B.Ed
- Agriculture & Commerce: Relevant Post Graduation + B.Ed/L.T. Diploma

Desirable Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates who have:
- Served in the Territorial Army for at least two years

Selection Process
- Subject-wise Written Examination (Objective Type)
- Exam centers: Haridwar and Haldwani
- Negative marking: ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- General: 45%
- OBC/EWS: 40%
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen: 35%
- PwD: 30%
