Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree (full-time/regular) in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution approved by AICTE/DOTE/UGC. Graduates who completed their degree between July 2021 and 2025 are eligible.
  • Work Experience: Candidates should not have more than one year of work experience in any government, PSU, or private organization as of 01-12-2025. Candidates with prior work experience are not eligible.
  • Age Limit: 21 – 28 years (as of 01-12-2025). Candidates must have been born between 01-12-1997 and 01-12-2004. Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

Stipend

Selected apprentices will be given a monthly stipend of Rs. 9,000, which includes:

  • Rs. 4,500 will be paid by UIIC directly to the apprentice’s account.
  • Rs. 4,500 will be contributed by the Government under the Apprenticeship Scheme and credited via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

No other allowances or benefits will be provided during the apprenticeship period.

Selection Process

  1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in their qualifying Graduate Degree (up to two decimal places).
    • For CGPA/OGPA/GPA grading systems, marks will be converted to percentage using the formula: CGPA × 10.
    • If two or more candidates have the same score, the older candidate will be given preference.
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via their registered email IDs to appear for physical verification of documents at designated UIIC offices.
  3. Final Engagement: The final list will be prepared after verification of all details in the candidate’s NATS profile against original documents and based on the availability of vacancies in respective states.

  • The candidate’s name must exactly match the educational certificates; any discrepancies may disqualify the application.

  • Any attempt at misrepresentation or unfair practice will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
  • Candidates must upload the following in their NATS student profile:
    • Degree Certificate / Provisional Certificate
    • Consolidated Mark Sheet
    • Aadhaar Card
    • Bank Passbook (in candidate’s name)
    • Latest Passport-size Photograph
