Eligibility Criteria

For Trade Apprentices (ITI)

  • Passed 10th standard and possess a valid ITI certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT
  • Minimum 55% marks required for UR/OBC/EWS candidates
  • Age: 18 to 30 years as on 31 January 2026

For Engineering Apprentices

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or BBA in relevant discipline from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 55% marks for UR/OBC/EWS candidates
  • SC/ST/PwD candidates need only passing marks
  • Age: 18 to 30 years as on 31 January 2026

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwD (VH/OH/HH): Up to 10 years
  • EWS: As per government norms

Candidates must not be below 18 years of age on the closing date.

Other Eligibility Conditions

  • Candidates must be Indian nationals
  • Should be medically fit as per Apprentices Act, 1961
  • Must not have previously undergone apprenticeship training in THDC
  • Valid domicile certificate required for reserved category candidates
  • Knowledge of computers will be considered an advantage
  • Preference may be given to candidates from Uttarakhand for reserved categories

Stipend Details

  • Stipend will be paid strictly as per Apprentices Act, 1961 and Training Rules
  • ITI Apprentices and Engineering Apprentices will receive stipend as prescribed by government norms
