Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture [B.Sc. (Agriculture)], or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture [B.Sc. (Horticulture)]
The degree must be from a recognized university or institution. No other equivalent qualification will be accepted.
Nationality & Language Requirement
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak Odia and fulfill the prescribed Odia language qualification norms.
Salary Structure
Pay Details (Numerical Breakdown)
- Pay Level: Level-10
- Pay Matrix Range: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400
- Initial Basic Pay (Cell-1): ₹44,900 per month
Allowances (in addition to Basic Pay)
Selected candidates are also entitled to the following allowances as applicable:
- Dearness Allowance (DA) – as revised periodically by the Odisha Government

Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of two stages:
- Written Examination
- Objective type (MCQ)
- Two papers of 100 marks each
- Total marks: 200
- Duration: 2 hours
- Negative marking: 25% for each wrong answer
- Personality Test (Interview)
- Maximum marks: 25
