Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have a full-time regular B.Tech/B.E degree with minimum 65% marks for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
- Final-year students are eligible but must complete their degree with the required percentage before the personal interview.
- Degrees must be from recognized Indian universities or AICTE-approved courses.
- CGPA/OGPA holders should convert their scores into percentages as per university norms.
Discipline-Specific Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering: Mechanical Engineering degree
- Electrical Engineering: Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree
- Chemical Engineering: Chemical Engineering or M.Tech in Applied Chemistry
Desirable Qualification:
- Candidates who have qualified GATE 2025 in the relevant discipline are preferred.
Experience:
- No prior work experience is required. Fresh graduates with excellent academic records can apply.
Salary and Benefits
- During the one-year training period, candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000/-.
- Starting basic pay: ₹40,000/- per month.
- Additional perks include Dearness Allowance, medical facilities, bachelor accommodation, Performance Related Pay (PRP), and superannuation benefits.
- After successful training, candidates will be absorbed as Assistant Manager (E1 grade) with a pay scale of ₹60,000 – 3% – ₹1,80,000/-.

Selection Process
- Shortlisting will be based on GATE 2025 marks in the relevant discipline.
- Eligible candidates will be called for a personal interview in a ratio of 1:10 (discipline-wise and category-wise).
- Final selection is based on 90% weightage to GATE marks and 10% to interview performance.

- Reservation/relaxation rules apply as per government guidelines.
- Selected candidates must sign a service bond of ₹3,00,000/- (or ₹4,00,000/- for training abroad) to serve NALCO for 4 years post-training.
