Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university
- Knowledge of Hindi at Class 10 level is mandatory
- Candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at matriculation or higher level
- Reserved category candidates must possess a valid Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate
Additional Requirements
- Working knowledge of computer applications and MS Office

Selection Process
The MPPSC SSE 2026 selection will be conducted in three stages:
1. Preliminary Examination (Qualifying)
- Paper I: General Studies (200 marks)
- Paper II: General Aptitude / CSAT (200 marks)
- Negative marking of 1/3 marks for incorrect answers
2. Main Examination
- Descriptive written examination with multiple subject papers
3. Interview / Personality Test
