Job Overview
As a Delivery Executive with Zomato, your primary responsibility is to deliver food and packages from partner restaurants and merchants to customers in a timely and professional manner. This is a customer-facing role that demands punctuality, courtesy, and commitment to excellent service.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the growth of one of India’s most reputable delivery networks. The job offers flexibility in shifts, making it suitable for both part-time and full-time workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up food orders or packages from designated vendors or kitchens.
- Deliver items safely and promptly to customers across Ahmedabad.
- Ensure items are delivered in good condition and within expected time limits.
- Receive payments, if applicable, upon handing over the order through Cash on Delivery (COD).
- Maintain professional behavior and communication with customers.
- Coordinate with dispatch teams and follow delivery routes provided.
- Keep track of supplies and report any shortages or issues to the kitchen or team leader.
