The Indian Army has released the Agniveer Common Entrance Exam (CCE) Recruitment 2025 notification, inviting young and dedicated candidates to join the armed forces. Educational Qualification

Here are the minimum educational requirements for each post:

  • Agniveer General Duty (GD): 10th pass with 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject.
  • Agniveer Technical: 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English (50% aggregate, 40% in each subject) OR 12th pass with 1-year ITI course.
  • Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper (Technical): 12th pass in any stream with 60% aggregate marks and 50% in each subject.
  • Agniveer Tradesman (10th & 8th Pass): Minimum 33% marks in each subject.
  • Agniveer (Women Military Police): 10th pass with 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject.
  • Sepoy Pharma: 12th pass with D.Pharma (55%) or B.Pharma (50%), registered with State Pharmacy Council.
  • JCO Religious Teacher: Bachelor’s degree in any stream + religious qualifications.

Physical Standards

Candidates must meet specific height, chest, and running requirements. Below are the general requirements:

  • Height: Ranges from 157 cm to 169 cm depending on the post.
  • Chest: 77 cm (minimum) + 5 cm expansion.
  • Running: 1.6 km within 5 min 45 sec to 8 min, depending on the post.
  • Pull-ups: Minimum 10 times for most positions.
  • Other Requirements: Must qualify 9-feet ditch and zigzag balance tests.

Women applicants have slightly different requirements, including long jump (10 feet) and high jump (3 feet).

Pay Scale (Salary)

Candidates selected under the Agniveer scheme will be recruited for 4 years. During this period, they will receive a structured salary:

Additionally, 30% of the salary will be deducted and deposited in the Agniveer Corpus Fund, which will be returned to the candidate after completion of service with interest and Seva Nidhi package.

After 4 years, 25% of Agniveers may be given a permanent position in the Indian Army based on performance.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of four stages:

  • Written Examination (CCE)
    • The written exam includes subjects like General Knowledge, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and English.
    • To qualify, candidates must achieve scores above the cutoff marks.
  • Physical Fitness Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)
    • Running, pull-ups, long jump, and high jump tests will be conducted.
  • Document Verification
    • Candidates must present original certificates for verification.
  • Medical Examination
    • Final medical fitness assessment by the Army Medical Board.
