Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a joint venture of the Government of India and Government of Karnataka, has officially announced recruitment for 27 key engineering positions in the System Department. This includes posts such as Chief Engineer, Dy. Chief Engineer, Executive Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, and Assistant Engineer on Contract and Deputation basis.

The recruitment provides an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers in the fields of Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science, and related disciplines to contribute to Bengaluru’s metro rail project. Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • BE/B.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, ECE, CSE, etc.) from a recognized university.
• Experience:
  • Post-qualification experience ranging from 5 to 20 years depending on the post.
  • Relevant experience in Metro Rail, RRTS, Railways, or major Rail PSUs.
  • Domain-specific experience required in Rolling Stock, Signalling, Telecom, Traction, Contracts, AFC, E&M, Depot M&P, etc.
  • For Deputation posts: Must be serving in Group ‘A’ executive services in Railways, Railway PSUs, or Metro Corporations.

Age Limit (Post-Wise)

• Chief Engineer: 55 years (Contract) / 56 years (Deputation)
• Dy. Chief Engineer: 48 years
• Executive Engineer: 42 years
• Assistant Executive Engineer: 40 years (Contract only)
• Assistant Engineer: 36 years (Contract only)

Salary/Stipend

Note: Deputationists will receive pay and allowances as per parent organization rules.
