Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Experience
To be eligible, candidates must have the necessary education and work experience related to the position they are applying for.

- Minimum Age: 21 years

Pay Scale & Benefits
- Initial Monthly Salary: ₹55,000
- Annual Increment: 8% increase in salary every year
- Provident Fund Contribution: As per ASRTU Rules
- Leave Benefits:
- 1.5 days leave per completed month (cannot be carried forward)
- Maximum 5 days leave at a time (except for medical reasons)
- Maternity leave as per statutory rules
- Other Benefits:
- Travel Allowance (TA) & Daily Allowance (DA) for official travel
- No additional allowances beyond the consolidated salary
Selection Process
Selection will be based on an interview. However, just meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection.
Shortlisting Process:
- Applications will be reviewed for eligibility and relevant experience.
- Only the most qualified candidates will be selected for the interview process.
- If no suitable candidate is found, ASRTU reserves the right to leave the post vacant.
Interview Details:
- Shortlisted applicants will be notified about the interview date and venue.
- The interview will assess technical knowledge, experience, and communication skills.

Step 1: Prepare the Application

Step 3: Label the Envelope Correctly
The envelope with your application should clearly mention the following:
Make sure to clearly mention “Application for the post of Assistant Superintendent in ASRTU, Post Code _____” on the envelope before sending it.
Step 4: Submit Before Deadline
Applications must reach ASRTU on or before 7th April 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
Terms & Conditions of Employment
- Contract Duration: Initially 1 year, extendable up to 5 years (1+4) based on performance.
- Probation Period:
- First 1 year will be probationary.
- After successful completion, the contract will be extended for 4 more years.
- Termination Policy:
- During probation: 1-month notice or equivalent salary.
- After probation: 3-month notice or equivalent salary.
- At the end of 5 years, the contract automatically terminates, unless renewed.
- Medical & Police Verification:
- Candidates must undergo a medical examination before appointment.
- A police verification certificate is required before joining.
- Transferability:
- Selected candidates may be transferred to any ASRTU or CIRT office as per requirement.
- Travel for Official Work:
- Candidates traveling for official purposes will receive TA/DA as per ASRTU norms.
