Training & Stipend
- Apprenticeship training will be provided as per Railway Board guidelines.
- Monthly stipend will be paid as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- No hostel facility will be provided; selected candidates must arrange their own accommodation.
Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in Railways.
Selection Process
Selection is purely based on merit, calculated by:
- Average of 10th percentage and ITI percentage
- Candidates scoring higher combined percentages will be listed above
- If marks tie:
- Candidate with older age gets preference
- If age also same, candidate who passed 10th earlier will be preferred
Final merit list will be trade-wise and category-wise, equal to the number of seats available.
Candidates shortlisted for training must pass a medical examination from a Government-authorized Doctor (Gazetted Rank).
