Bank of Maharashtra, one of India’s leading public sector banks with a wide national presence, has announced a major recruitment drive for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the training year 2025–26. This initiative is designed to provide young graduates with structured banking exposure, practical learning, and real-time work experience in a professional environment.
A total of 600 apprentice positions are available across multiple States and Union Territories of India. Selected candidates will undergo one year of apprenticeship training, which includes both classroom learning and on-the-job practical training as per the operational needs of the bank. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who want to gain hands-on experience in the banking sector without immediate employment obligations.
The apprenticeship is purely a training engagement and does not guarantee permanent employment with the bank after completion. However, it significantly enhances employability by offering industry-relevant skills and exposure.
