Salary Details

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Mandatory:
- First-class Engineering Graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related fields from a recognized university/institution.
- Preferred:
- Postgraduate qualification (M.Tech/MBA/PGDM/PGDBM/MMS) in a related field will be given preference.
Work Experience (As of October 31, 2024)
- Essential:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in IT business/industry with expertise in managing IT infrastructure and operations.
- Preferred:
- At least 5 years of experience in handling large IT transformation projects in major banks/financial institutions (FIs).
Selection Process
- Shortlisting:
- SBI will set specific shortlisting criteria.
- Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee selection for the interview.
- Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a technical and leadership interview.
- Interview performance alone will determine the final merit list.
- CTC Negotiation:
- Final salary will be discussed and negotiated with selected candidates.
Merit List Preparation:
- If multiple candidates score the same marks, preference will be given to the older candidate based on age.
Job Profile & Key Responsibilities
The Deputy CTO (IT-Infrastructure) will report to CGM (IT-Infra & PE) and DMD (IT) and will be responsible for:
1. IT Infrastructure & Operations Management
- Overseeing network, cloud, data centers, and IT infrastructure.
- Ensuring high system performance, availability, and service level compliance.
- Managing technology planning, development, and IT operations.
2. Digital Transformation & Technology Planning
- Driving IT transformation initiatives to enhance SBI’s digital capabilities.
- Developing technology roadmaps, standards, and governance policies.
3. Vendor & Compliance Management
- Managing third-party IT vendors and technology partners.
- Ensuring compliance with IT security policies and regulatory requirements.
4. Risk Management & Innovation
- Handling IT risk assessment and cybersecurity.
- Evaluating new technologies and aligning them with business goals.
