Eligibility Criteria
The recruitment is open for candidates from both Science and Non-Science backgrounds.
For Science Stream Candidates:
- 10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics, Physics, and English with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
- Three-year Diploma in Engineering in any of the following fields with 50% marks overall and 50% in English:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Electronics
- Automobile
- Computer Science
- Instrumentation Technology
- Information Technology
- Two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics as non-vocational subjects with 50% marks overall and 50% in English.
For Non-Science Stream Candidates:
- 10+2 (Intermediate) in any stream with 50% marks overall and 50% in English. OR
- Two-year Vocational Course with 50% marks overall and 50% in English.

Chest Expansion:

Selection Process
The selection for the Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2026 Batch will be conducted in the following stages:
1. Online Written Exam
- The exam will assess Mathematics, Physics, and English for Science stream candidates, and Reasoning & General Awareness for all candidates.
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats
3. Medical Examination
- Comprehensive medical tests to ensure physical and mental fitness.
Only candidates who clear all stages successfully will be selected.
